Herb Kugell, our SO-PB, passed
away on Tuesday, May 6. He was a valued member of Flotilla
53 and a
true asset to the Coast Guard
Auxiliary. And he was a good friend. We will miss him. Herb
was in
the process of creating an
E-Newsletter for the Division. Would anyone like to take that
over?

The 2008 Division 5 patrol
pick will be on Sunday, April 13 at 0900 at ISC Boston. There
will also be a 1
hour TCT workshop and the
IT workshop for those who need it. Every coxswain and crew
needs the 1
hour TCT (unless he or she
is taking the full 8 hour TCT course this year. All instructors
must complete
the IT workshop before the
end of May. All members are welcome to attend.

course in Search and Rescue (AUXSAR) would be replaced by
the Coast Guard's
